Responsibilities

  • Develop regional marketing plans supported with strategic insights in partnership with Bakery Managers/region, influenced by master brand plan
  • Support strategic thinking and own execution and implementation of regional marketing plan
  • Lead marketing discussions in regions to develop synergies for impactful delivery (Relationships are key)
  • Lead cross-functional teams engagement and alignment of marketing activities, delivering on all branding collateral (Branding, POS, branded premiums etc.)
  • Tracking of marketing activities and campaigns, providing key insights and learning
  • Tracking and obtaining insights from Sales re regional bakery performance vs. national targets
  • Understand regional nuances and mix for region and track price compliance
  • Lead presentations at various events, activities and community initiatives
  • Measurement and Evaluation of campaigns (post campaign analysis)
  • Manage media relations in regions with key partners
  • Manage PR and community and/bakery content for digital platforms to land the brand positioning in minds of consumers
  • Differentiate SASKO and provide competitive advantage by obtaining insights on competitor products and pricing, providing regular reports for MBR
  • Analyze and understand performance tracking vs. target
  • Interpret data for top tier retailer customers in TT and MT, with support of Insights Team
  • Understand consumer complaints at regional level to address quality
  • Lead Marketing score card and priorities in region
  • Community immersion within regions to promote SASKO– at least x2 per month, with key learning areas identified and impact on SASKO Sam messaging
  • Identify community initiatives for SASKO to partner with- be in culture
  • Understand regional performances – key competitors and take out and gaps
  • Drive PepsiCo Values and culture

Qualifications

  • Analytical and marketing skills
  • Ability to make strategic decisions
  • Ability to manage time to allocate and manage bakeries optimally
  • Strong communication and administrative skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required
  • Project Management, strong budget management and event management
  • Agency Management
  • Digital Marketing will be advantageous
  • Previous work experience as a marketing /brand assistant in a brand office within the marketing function
  • Must be in region 24/7
  • Track within targets and results orientated
  • Flexiblity to travel – required 50% travel; 50% in region
  • Must have driver’s licence Code 8
